Hi, I’m Alex. I was born in 1981, under the full name of Alexander (the great) Perel. I am a video artist who has been working in the wedding market since 1999. I am the third generation of professional photographers in the Perel family. Photography is my life. I love it. I breathe it, I bathe in it, it is my substance. I am catching magical moments and letting them stay with you forever. The way I do that is by being an open and authentic person around whom everybody feels natural and calm to be around. One of my advantages is that I get involved in all of the wedding’s procedures. From the initial call or letter, to being at your wedding celebration and capturing the footage, to editing and placing everything together into the final cinematic movie. Therefore, I am able to see things ahead of time– while taking the video footage I understand exactly what I will do with it later; while speaking to you I understand what working style you will be more likely to prefer. Ever since 1999 I’ve been in the industry, and through the years I’ve gained a lot of knowledge and experience, slowly developing my own style with the years. One of the best things about this field is the sheer amount of time you work with people – I absolutely love it. Every day, every wedding, fashion project, documentary – whatever the event is, it is all about the people involved – their stories, points of views, passions, visions – and they are always different! That’s what keeps me motivated and inspired, the human aspect, and the constant variability.
Alexander: “I really feel lucky because I have the chance to do exactly what I have a passion for. When I see exactly what I have actually produced I feel warmth and joy in my heart”.
I’m also married and the father of two gorgeous daughters, I live in Israel, the Haifa area, but I work everywhere, so if your event is not in my area code, have no worries, contact me about everything and anything and we shall discuss the finer details of what can be arranged.
