In my line of work, I get to meet a lot of couples from all over the globe, but it is not often that I get to witness true, pure love between two people that were brought together by faith. When I met Veronica and Daniel I knew I was part of something very special, and their story proves it. Veronica and Daniel met in grade 6, as early as the age of 12, the very first relationship neither of them ever had, and it went on until Veronica moved to Canada with her family a year later, at the age of 13. From then on, they because the best of friends and kept in touch for 7 years. They wrote each other constantly and talked on ICQ whenever they could until one day, Daniel decided to come and visit Veronica in Canada. From the very first moment they reconnected, it became very clear that their love for each other was undeniable, and they were meant to be together. When Daniel left to go back to Israel, they decided that shorty after, Veronica will join him, and 3 months later she landed in Israel. They stayed together for 7 years, until Daniel decided to propose at the very place he first asked her to be his girlfriend in their elementary school over 14 years ago. “If this is not an example of faith, I don’t know what is” were part of Veronica’s vow’s to Daniel at the huppa, in “Hanesiha” – the “Princess” banquet hall in Haifa, where they promised to love and cherish each other in front of their close 200 family and friends. It was a magical night filled with love and inspiration.
